Water Repellent Coating
Ridex Seal is a 100% Silanes & Siloxancs based water repellent coating which when diluted with water turns a micro emulsion with nanometer particle size. This provides excellent penetration in the surface along with water repellency when applied on any masonry substrate while maintaining surface breathability.

Unlike other water repellent coatings Ridex Seal can be used as a primer coat, which can improve adhesion of paint on the surface at the same time yielding excellent impermeability.

Application field :

1) Concrete surface (unplastered)
2) Plastered surface
3) For injection grouting to stop/retard efflorescence.
4) As a primer cum waterproofing coat before painting.
5) Additional water proofing system for R.C.C. slabs, IPS surface or china mosaic chips.
6) Non-toxic anti fungal coat in O.I I.water tank.

Dilution ratio : 1:15 to 20 times with water
Coverage : 1,200 to 2,000 Sq. Ft.s / Kg. in diluted form depending on the porosity of the surface.
Shelf life : 2 years in packed container.

Pot life : 2 to 3 days in diluted form.
Penetration : 2 to 3 m.m. depending on the density of the substrate.

Application method : After cleaning the surface & sealing all visible cracks, apply two coats of diluted Yogi Crete Seal (wet on wet) on it. Do not allow the first coat to dry. Allow 7 days time for complete crystallization before checking water repellency & impermeability. If used as a primer, paint can be applied on third day of application.

Post Application properties :

d) No change in texture of the surface.
e) Protection against chemical attack. 0 Prevents efflorescence.
g) Penetrates up to 3m.m.& forms crystals.

i) Increases the life of concrete by preventing passage of moisture up to re-bars.
